We try to schedule appointments so that
our patients do not have to wait long periods of time, but sometimes
unexpected delays do occur. In these cases, our staff will inform
you of the delay. If you are unable to wait, we will be happy to
reschedule your appointment for a more convenient time. If you must
cancel an appointment, please call as far in advance as possible so
we may give the time to someone else who needs to be seen.
If you find it necessary to call the clinic during normal working
hours, our staff is well trained to help you. Surgery schedules,
prescription refills, and reports from patients are handled by our
nurses in accordance with our instructions. The nurse or doctor will
usually return patient calls at the end of each morning and again at
the end of the afternoon. Emergency calls are handled as they arise.
If you have an emergency, please tell us when you call. Calls
concerning appointments, billing and hospital insurance are handled
by our front office and billing department. |
